Ms.Diana and sheldon

Floyd, AR saw a North American celebrity yesterday on the bookmobile route!  Ms. Diana Wagener brought Canadian and American Collie champion, Sheldon, to our Floyd bookmobile stop.  Everyone loved meeting and petting Sheldon.  Ms. Diana taught our patrons about approaching an unknown animal, about rabies, and about taking good care of their pets.  When Ms. Diana walked in with Sheldon, one of the adults exclaimed, "It's Lassie!"  Ms. Diana has offered to supply the bookmobile with Lassie books for a new generation of readers...watch for them, soon!  Ms. Diana also brought coloring sheets, wrist bands and pencils from the AKC for all patrons.  If you read this post about Sheldon and mention it to Ms. Calvert on the bookmobile today, tomorrow, or next week...she will have something special for you, as well!
